Winstead UMC will be participating in the Rise against Hunger event at Evansdale United Methodist Church, 4334 Evansdale Rd., Wilson. We will help package 20,000 meals to fight global hunger. Volunteers will need to register.

Thank you for your ongoing prayers and support for the people of Western North Carolina and the Southeast following Hurricane Helene. Here are a few ways you can help support Hurricane Helene disaster relief efforts:
- Financial donations may be written to Winstead UMC with Hurricane Helene on the memo line. Or you may donate online to the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church.
- Use this QR code to donate directly to UMCOR
- You can volunteer at the MERCI center in Goldsboro, NC, preparing flood buckets. If you would like to serve at MERCI, please contact Rev. Bill Haddock at revbillh@nccumc.org.
The family of Winstead United Methodist Church is rooted in the worship of God, and in strong programming for children, youth, and adults committed to forming and nurturing identity in Jesus Christ as Savior.
